Our Journey

Our Journey
Start - Baltic Sea

Our journey begins at our home port in Stockholm.
We will take a last stop on some of our favourite spots in the 30 000 islands archipelago. Get sweaty in a woodfire sauna by the water, take a stroll by the medieval city of Visby on Gotland before heading South towards the Kiel canal.

North Sea

After exiting the Kiel canal, we reach the North Sea!
This will be a special step in our journey as we will get to the place where I (Jakub) grew up, Lille.
It will be an occasion to discover some well known landscapes from another perspective, and of course, grab some cold Belgian beers with friends and family.

French Canals

We have decided to cut through France via the French Canals to save time and avoid sailing through Biscay.
We will enter the via Le Havre, sail through the center of Paris, continue through Champagne and wine regions and finally exit South close to Montpellier after about 250 locks and 1300 kms of slow cruising.
Medieval castles, charming villages, vineyards and delicious food awaits us!

Mediterranean Sea - East

Exiting the French Canals, we put the masts up and set sail in the fantastic turquoise waters of the Mediterranean.
Our main goal being to discover Greece, we will head East.
First, we will visit my sister in Monaco.
Then we will drop anchor in places like Corsica, Sardinia or Sicily to name a few.

Mediterranean Sea - West

When the summer ends, we will be heading out of the Mediterranean in order to cross the Atlantic towards the Carribean.
We plan to stop by the Baleares islands, the South of Spain and stop in Gibraltar.

Islands of West Africa

Once we head out of Gibraltar, we will be sailing towards Cape Verde.
We plan to stop in Morocco and the Canaries on the way.
This is the last step before the big crossing!

Atlantic crossing

2000 nautical miles of pure sailing.
2 weeks non stop.
Disconnected from everything.
A time for us to become true sailors.

Carribean

Land ho!
We touchdown on one of the outer islands of the Carribean.
We made it! Now it's time to sip some good rhum and spend some months taking it slow and explore all the beautiful islands the Carribean has to offer.
